New York Institute of Technology congratulates more than 580 students who were named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List.

More than 100 students completed New York Institute of Technology's rigorous Internship Certificate Program during Spring 2019, earning valuable hands-on experience and developing skills in a wide range of work environments.

A select group of outstanding students has been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Adelphi University. Adelphi's deans of Arts and Sciences, Education, Business, Nursing, Social Work and Psychology recognize superior academic work every semester. The Dean's List comprises full-time students-registered for 12 or more credits-who have completed at least 9 graded credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester. This recognition becomes part of the student's academic record and is entered into the individual's transcript.

New York Institute of Technology Athletics placed 134 student-athletes on the East Coast Conference (ECC) Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2018-19 academic year. Student-athletes who earned at least a 3.25 GPA for the academic year earned the honor. Additionally, New York Institute of Technology men's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis, and Esports teams had the highest GPAs of any team in their respective sports in the ECC for the 2018-19 academic year.

SUNY Delhi announces its Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester, a recognition of academic achievement for students who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.

New York Institute of Technology congratulates the graduates who received their academic degrees at the university's 58th annual commencement, held in Old Westbury on May 19, 2019.

RIT conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

More than 690 students graduated from SUNY Delhi in May 2019. Commencement was held on May 18, and over 750 certificates, associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees were conferred upon the Class of 2019. SUNY New Paltz announces its Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester, a recognition for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

Twenty-eight students received a "Best in Show" award for their entries into the Student Research & Creative Achievement days this year. At the end of each semester, SUNY Delhi celebrates the research and creative activity from students and faculty. The 2018-2019 academic year saw over 150 entries for the two shows. The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5-grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President's List for the spring semester 2019. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0-grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.

A total of 1,553 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2019 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

On May 16, the 56 nursing students from New York Institute of Technology's Class of 2019 were welcomed into the profession with a pinning ceremony. Nursing school pinning ceremonies are a rite of passage celebrating the completion of a student's training as he or she graduates and goes on to pursue a career as an RN.

SUNY Oneonta recently recognized nearly 200 students who have attained leadership milestones through the college's LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program. LEAD@Oneonta is a comprehensive leadership program based on current research and guidelines from the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education. All students can choose to participate in the LEAD program, which aims to better prepare them for life after college by providing a comprehensive picture of leadership and the skills needed to be a good leader. Students can attain a silver, gold or platinum level. To attain each level, students must meet a mix of programmatic and experiential leadership requirements, including completion of online courses, attendance at educational events, and membership and leadership in one or more of SUNY Oneonta's 100+ student-run clubs and organizations. Completion of a leadership level is recognized on campus as a credential that can be used, for example, when running for office or applying for STEP (Student Travel for Excellence Program) funding. The program also provides students with a leadership record that can be submitted to potential employers.

RIT is silencing the doubters, winning its second Collegiate Starleague Dota 2 Grand Finals Championship April 28. The student team bested a bracket of North America's 32 top universities to take home the $10,000 grand prize.

Over 160 students were celebrated as part of the Kente Graduation Recognition Ceremony. Sponsored by the Department of Africana/Latino Studies, the Office of Equity and Inclusion and the Office of Student Diversity and Advocacy, the annual ceremony recognizes the achievements of SUNY Oneonta's diverse student population-African American, Latino, Asian and Native American (AALANA) students and non-AALANA students and allies.

On May 2, students from NYIT School of Health Professions were inducted into The Alpha Eta Honor Society, the national scholastic honor society for allied health students. With the motto "Together We Serve," Alpha Eta promotes and recognizes significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions.

More than 700 students have been awarded scholarships at the annual scholarship dinner held on April 4. SUNY Oneonta's scholarship funds total over $60 million and are the result of contributions from donors, corporations and foundations. It is the largest endowment among SUNY comprehensive four-year colleges.

The SUNY New Paltz Praxis Theatre series will present "Life's Only Valuable Emotion," May 3-5.

More than 300 graduates were recognized at SUNY Oneonta's Winter Commencement on December 2, 2018. Students who completed the requirements for bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and certificates of advanced study in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House.
