A total of 1,445 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2018 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

More than 500 Monroe College students were named to the Deans' List for the Fall 2017 semester. At Monroe, the Deans' List is comprised of full-time students who have completed and excelled in their coursework, earning a grade point average between 3.60 and 3.79 over the course of the semester.

Monroe College, a national leader in educating urban and international students, held its 85th Annual Commencement on June 13, 2018 at Radio City Music Hall in midtown Manhattan. Benjamin Tucker, the First Deputy Commissioner of the New York Police Department, and Marcos Crespo, a member of the New York State Assembly, gave the keynote addresses. Two separate ceremonies were held to accommodate the families and friends of the 2,600 students earning Associate, Bachelor's or Master's degrees and professional certificates.

At Monroe, the President's List is comprised of full-time students who have completed and excelled in their coursework, earning a grade point average of 3.80 or above over the course of the semester.

Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the spring semester 2018. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President's List for the spring semester 2018. To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.

More than 2,000 high-achieving students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at Northampton Community College. The honor is reserved for students who have completed a minimum of 6 credits and achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in the spring 2018 semester.

A total of 1,621 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2018 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

The Philosophy Department inducted 19 students into Phi Sigma Tau, the philosophy student honor society and held its annual Philosophy Student Conference. Philosophy students at all levels of study made presentations.

More than 1,700 students were named to the Spring 2018 President's List at Hudson Valley Community College.

More than 200 SUNY Oneonta students were selected to present at the 2018 SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC), hosted by SUNY Oneonta on April 20. Students from 28 SUNY colleges and universities presented 179 research projects in two poster sessions, and another 100 projects in oral presentations throughout the day. Every spring, SURC brings together undergraduate researchers and faculty mentors for two daylong programs of presentations, performances, art displays and poster sessions held on two separate campuses. The second SURC event was April 21, at Monroe Community College in Rochester.

Buffalo State is proud to recognize the undergraduate students who have completed at least 45 credit hours (30 credit hours for transfer students) at Buffalo State and achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
